A 43-year-old woman operating a 2007 Toyota hit a 4-year-old girl at Beardsley Avenue near Chester Avenue in unclear circumstances

Oildale, Calif. – A 4-year-old girl was seriously injured in a pedestrian crash at Beardsley Avenue in Oildale Saturday afternoon.
According to the authorities in incident happened at around 3:25 p.m. on January 13 at Beardsley Avenue near Chester Avenue.
CHP said a 43-year-old woman was driving her 2007 Toyota, backing northbound in a parking lot of an apartment complex at an unknown speed.
At the same time, a 4-year-old girl was walking eastbound behind the Toyota. The woman did not see the child and the rear of the Toyota hit her.

Oildale, Calif. – A child was hospitalized after being struck by a car on Saturday afternoon in Oildale.
The accident happened around 3:25 p.m. on Beardsley Avenue near Chester Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Page.
A vehicle is reported to have struck the juvenile on the highway in unclear circumstances.
The child, approximately 3 to 4 years old, was injured in the accident and was transported to Memorial Hospital for treatment.
