Klamath County, Ore. – Authorities have released the identities of the five victims killed and one injured in a crash on Highway 97 in Klamath County Wednesday morning.
The Oregon State Police said the wreck happened at around 9:45 a.m. January 17 on Highway 97 near milepost 193.
Bravo lost control of his northbound Chrysler Pacifica and collided with a southbound Peterbilt commercial motor vehicle and trailer, operated by Iskanyan Avetis Vardani, 56, of Los Angeles (CA).
The operator of the Chrysler, 39-year-old Juan Ochoa Bravo, Eve Saldana Alcantar, 37, Erik Ochoa Saldana,18, a female juvenile,15, and a male infant,1 were declared deceased at the scene.
An additional female juvenile,11, passenger was transported to a local medical center with critical injuries.
Vardani was reportedly not injured.

Klamath County, Ore. – Authorities are investigating a crash involving a semi-truck that killed five people Wednesday morning on Highway 97 in Klamath County.
The wreck happened at around 10 a.m. on Highway 97 about two miles north of the Oregon Highway 58 interchange and just south of Crescent, according to Oregon State Police.
A semi-truck collided with a vehicle in the area. Authorities said road conditions were the primary cause of the crash.
Five people were killed in the wreck.
The identities of the deceased were not immediately released.
The highway was closed for several hours but later reopened at 5 p.m.
More details regarding the wreck were not available.
An investigation is underway.
