Kendra Cordova, 34, of Santa Maria was driving a wrong-way Mazda CX-9 northbound in the southbound lanes of Highway when it collided with a Chevrolet Silverado driven by Cecilio L. Camacho, 63, of Santa Maria.

Santa Maria, CA. – A 53-year-old Santa Maria woman was killed and two injured, one critically, in a wrong-way collision on Highway 101 in Santa Maria Sunday morning.
At 5:13 a.m., California Highway Patrol officers received a report of a fatal crash on State Route 101 just south of Betteravia Road.
Kendra Cordova, 34, of Santa Maria was driving a wrong-way Mazda CX-9 northbound in the southbound lanes of Highway when it collided with a Chevrolet Silverado driven by Cecilio L. Camacho, 63, of Santa Maria.
Camacho, who had critical injuries, was transported to Marian Regional Medical Center for treatment. His passenger, a 53-year-old Santa Maria woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Cordova suffered major injuries, and she was arrested in connection with the crash.

Santa Maria, CA. – One person was killed in a wrong-way crash on Sunday morning in Santa Maria.
The fatal collision happened around 5:15 a.m. on Highway 101 near Betteravia Road, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
