Fremont, CA. – 47-year-old Daniel Erick Jaramillo died after he was struck by a car mid-April near an intersection in Fremont, the Alameda County Coroner's Office reported.
Jaramillo was crossing the street mid-block near Mission Boulevard and Mohave Drive when he was hit around 7:40 p.m. on April 15.

Fremont, CA. – A pedestrian died days after being struck by a vehicle near an intersection in Fremont.
The victim was hit by the car around 7:40 p.m. on April 15 near Mission Boulevard and Mohave Drive.
The Fremont Police Department said the pedestrian died at a hospital on April 25.
Authorities said the pedestrian was walking northbound across the westbound lanes of Mission Boulevard when he was hit by the vehicle.
The victim was not in a marked crosswalk at the time of the accident.
The motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Intoxication is not believed to be a contributing factor.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
