Phoenix, AZ. – Authorities have identified a Valley man killed in an accident Friday night on 12th Avenue in Phoenix.
Edwin Rodriguez was killed after a crash that occurred near 12th Avenue and Washington Street at around 8 p.m. on May 24.
Rodriguez was riding a motorized scooter when in unclear circumstances a vehicle crashed into him.
Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the crash site.

Phoenix, AZ. – A Valley man was killed in a traffic collision near 12th Avenue in Phoenix Friday night, according to the authorities
The wreck happened at around 8 p.m. near 12th Avenue and Washington Street.
Reportedly, the man was riding on a motorized scooter when for unknown reasons he was hit by a vehicle.
The victim suffered severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital for treatment, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the officers.
More details about the wreck were not provided.
An investigation is underway.
