Jose Jr. Montanchez, 65, of Hemet was killed in the collision.
Hemet, California (October 27, 2023) – Authorities have released the identity of the person who died Sunday evening following a traffic collision in Hemet.
The Riverside County Sheriff's Department identified the victim as Jose Jr. Montanchez, 65, of Hemet.
Hemet died in a crash involving at least two vehicles on eastbound Domenigoni Parkway, near Alamar Mesa Drive at about 7:18 p.m. Sunday, October 22.

Hemet, California (October 23, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle collision that occurred Sunday evening in Hemet.
The deadly traffic collision was reported at around 7:18 p.m. October 22 on the eastbound Domenigoni Parkway just west of Alamar Mesa Drive.
Responding crews located several vehicles involved in the accident. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately released.
One person sustained fatal injuries in the wreck.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
