Buttonwillow, CA. – Fabian Castaneda has been identified as a victim struck while pushing his disabled car in Buttonwillow last month.
The crash occurred on the 32000 block of 7th Standard Road on September 26, 2024, around midnight, according to the Kern's County Sheriff's Office, Buttonwillow substation.
Castaneda was pushing his broken-down car when he was struck from behind by another motorist.
Castaneda was declared deceased at the crash site.
The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
