Raygoza was struck by a car on westbound Highway 178, east of Beale Avenue at about 8:14 p.m. on July 4.
Bakersfield, CA. – 61-year- old Julio Raygoza of Bakersfield has been identified as man killed in a pedestrian crash on Highway 178 in Bakersfield early this month, according to the Kern County Coroner's Office.
Raygoza was struck by a car on westbound Highway 178, east of Beale Avenue at about 8:14 p.m. on July 4.
A vehicle driven by 29-year-old Bakersfield man was unable to swerve out of the direction of the man, striking him with the car.
The pedestrian was killed in the collision.
An investigation is ongoing.
