Lancaster, CA – The Los Angeles County Coroner's office has identified 55-year-old Lashon Bailey as female pedestrian killed in a Monday night crash at Avenue J in Lancaster.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department were called to Avenue J and Dale Avenue at around 7:40 p.m. December 2 regarding the deadly accident.
Bailey was walking southbound across Avenue J when she was struck by a westbound white Honda on Avenue J.
Bailey was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.

Lancaster, CA – A female pedestrian was fatally injured following a Monday night crash on Avenue J in Lancaster.
The incident occurred at about 7:40 p.m. at Avenue J and Dale Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the driver of a white Honda was traveling westbound on Avenue J when for unknown reasons the car struck the woman walking southbound across the same street.
The police said it was not clear whether the driver or the pedestrian had the right of way.
It is unknown if alcohol, drugs or speed played a factor in this crash.The crash remains under investigation.
