Spokane, Wash. – Authorities have identified 67-year-old Linda Leonard as woman killed in a car crash in Spokane Monday morning.

Leonard was killed in a traffic collision that happened at around 10 a.m. in the 2600 block of East Deer Park Milan Road.

Spokane, Wash. – A woman suffered injuries after a two-vehicle collision in Spokane Monday morning.

The Spokane County Sheriff's Office said the crash was reported in the 2600 block of East Deer Park Milan Road at around 10 a.m.

Investigators said an SUV was driving west on Deer Park Milan Road when it lost control and veered across the center line and into oncoming traffic, colliding with a Ford F250.

The SUV driver suffered life-threatening injuries and despite life-saving measures, she was pronounced dead.

The name of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.

The second driver sustained no injuries and remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

Reports stated that speed and slick conditions appeared to be factors in the crash.

An investigation is underway.
