Los Angeles, CA. – 28-year-old Deandre Hall was the worker who died in a work accident that happened Wednesday morning at the Sunshine Canyon Landfill in Granada Hills, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner reported.
The accident happened at about 9:25 a.m. in the 14747 block of San Fernando Road.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, a piece of heavy machinery overturned and fell into another machine that Hall was operating, killing him instantly.
LAFD personnel and Cal/OSHA responded to the scene.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
