Lancaster, CA. – 33-year-old Cesar Rodriguez-Ortiz died in a head-on accident that happened Saturday at an intersection in Lancaster, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner reported.
The wreck was reported around 6:18 a.m. near 55th Street East and East Avenue J.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Rodriguez-Ortiz was a passenger in a Ford traveling eastbound on Avenue J when a westbound BMW veered into oncoming lanes and collided head-on with the Ford.
Rodriguez-Ortiz died from injuries he suffered in the crash.
Two other people were taken to Antelope Valley Medical Center with moderate injuries.
One of the victims was trapped inside their car.
