Pomona, CA. – Miranda Wheeler, 40, was identified as a pedestrian killed in a crash on Mission Boulevard in Pomona Wednesday night.
Wheeler was killed in a crash that occurred at around 10:09 p.m. on May 22 on East Mission Boulevard and South Reservoir Street.
For unknown reasons, Wheeler was struck by a vehicle while crossing the streets.
Wheeler was pronounced dead at the crash site.

Pomona, CA. – A pedestrian was fatally injured in a traffic collision on Mission Boulevard in Pomona Wednesday night.
According to the authorities, the wreck was reported at around 10:09 p.m. on East Mission Boulevard and South Reservoir Street.
A pedestrian was crossing the streets when for an unknown reason they were hit by a vehicle.
The victim, whose name was not released died at the scene.
The driver involved remained at the crash site and cooperated with the officers.
Police closed westbound and eastbound Mission Boulevard while they investigated the traffic collision.
No additional information about the accident was not available.
An investigation is underway.
