Angel Alberto Brambila was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision after colliding with two big rigs.

Santa Maria, CA. – The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Coroner's Bureau identified the man who was killed in a crash on Highway 1 near Santa Maria as Angel Alberto Brambila.
The collision took place around 6 p.m. on April 24 on Highway 1 near Black Road.
Authorities said the 28-year-old Santa Maria man was driving a Ford sedan north on Highway 1 when he collided with a harvesting trailer parked on the east side of the roadway.
The car continued north after the impact and ended up underneath another parked trailer.
Santa Barbara County firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Brambila dead at the scene. He was the only occupant of the sedan.
California Highway Patrol officers are investigating the accident.

Santa Maria, CA.– One person was killed in a rear-end collision on State Route 1 in Santa Maria Wednesday evening.
According to the authorities, the incident happened at around 6 p.m. on Highway 1 at Black Road.
Reportedly, for unknown reasons, a vehicle crashed into the rear of a parked big rig. The car ended up under the semi-truck and required heavy extrication.
One person was killed in the accident.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
It was unclear whether there was another party in the car.
An investigation is ongoing.
