Lake Balboa, Calif. – One person died, and another was critically hurt in a traffic collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV that happened Wednesday evening in Los Angeles' Lake Balboa area.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the accident was reported around 7:15 p.m. in the 7000 block of Woodley Avenue at Hart Street.
The crash involved a motorcycle and an SUV.

Two people riding on the motorbike were thrown onto the roadway.
Emergency personnel responded in a few minutes and transported both victims to the hospital. One of them died while the other was being treated for critical injuries.
