Reports revealed Chavez was running across the freeway when she was struck by a semi-truck trailer.
Carson, CA. – 42-year-old Rebecca Chavez has been identified as a pedestrian killed in a wreck Wednesday night on 110 Freeway in Carson.
According to the CHP, the incident was reported at about 9:32 p.m. on July 24 on Interstate 110 at Carson Street off-ramp.
Reports revealed Chavez was running across the freeway when she was struck by a semi-truck trailer.
Chavez was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver behind the wheel remained at the location and cooperated with the officers.
An investigation is ongoing.
