Arlington, WA. – 70-year-old Sharon Heeringa died days later after a deadly car crash on in Arlington early this month.

The wreck happened on near Northeast 236th Street at around 1:30 p.m. on April 1, according to a police report.

Reportedly, a wrong-way car driven by a 43-year-old Arlington man collided with a second vehicle, causing two other vehicles to crash.

Arlington man was pronounced dead at the crash site. Three others including Heeringa were hospitalized.

Heeringa was pronounced dead days later.

Arlington, Wash. – Authorities are investigating a deadly rollover collision on Interstate 5 in Arlington Monday afternoon.

According to the Washington State Police, the accident happened at around 1:30 p.m. on 15 Freeway near North East 236th Street.

A preliminary investigation indicated that at least four vehicles were involved in the accident. The impact caused two vehicles to roll over.

Initially reports stated serious injuries were sustained in the wreck but later police confirmed a fatality.

The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.

The freeway was shut down as officers investigated the incident. The traffic was diverted to Highway 530.

More details about the mishap were not available.

An investigation is underway.
