Portland, Ore. – The Portland Police Bureau has identified 84-year-old Shui E. Yuan as female pedestrian killed in crash on NE 65th Avenue in Portland Tuesday evening.
Yuan was killed in a wreck that occurred at around 5:43 p.m. on January 23 on Northeast 65th Avenue and Northeast Sandy Boulevard.
The driver involved was neither speeding nor impaired at the time of crash.
No arrests were made.

Portland, Ore. – A female pedestrian was fatally injured in a crash on Northeast 65th Avenue in Northeast Portland Tuesday evening.
According to the Oregon State Police, the wreck happened at around 5:43 p.m. on January 23 on Northeast 65th Avenue and Northeast Sandy Boulevard.
The woman was crossing the streets when she was hit by the vehicle in unclear circumstances.
The victim was pronounced dead at the crash site.
The identity of the deceased was withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
The driver involved stayed at the scene and cooperated with the officers.
During the on-scene investigation, Northeast Sandy Boulevard is closed between Northeast 65th Avenue and Northeast 66th Avenue.
Additional information about the collision was not provided.
The wreck remains under investigation.
