Covina, CA – A woman was killed in an early Thursday morning head-on collision at North Lark Ellen Avenue in Covina.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the mishap was reported at around 1:58 a.m. at North Lark Ellen Avenue and East Cypress Street.
A preliminary investigation indicated that the woman crossed into the opposite lane of traffic and was struck head-on by a semi-truck.
The woman, whose name was not immediately disclosed, died at the scene.
