Vicente Gonzalez Identified 38-Year-Old Man Hospitalized after Fatal Action Crash on Sierra Highway near San Gabriel Avenue
Acton, California (March 31, 2022) – Vicente Gonzalez, 38, of Palmdale, has been identified as the man who was injured in a Wednesday morning fatal head-on collision in Acton, the CHP said.
The deadly accident occurred at about 4:50 a.m., on March 30, on Sierra Highway south of San Gabriel Avenue.
According to the officials, a Honda, driven by Christian Flores, 23, of Palmdale, was headed northbound on Sierra Highway when it collided with a southbound Nissan, driven by a Gonzalez.
The Honda reportedly crossed into the southbound lane, where it collided head-on with the Nissan.

Sadly, Flores was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gonzalez sustained major injuries and was hospitalized for treatment.
It was not clear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
