Merced, CA – Victor Hernandez Gonzalez, 40, of Santa Nella, was identified as a pedestrian killed in a crash on Interstate 5 in Merced early November.
According to California Highway Patrol, the mishap was reported before 5 p.m. November 10 on 5 Freeway south of State Route 33.
Gonzalez was walking east within the southbound lanes of the freeway when he was struck by a 2014 Audi driven by a 24-year-old Norwalk man.
Gonzalez was declared deceased at the scene.
