2 Airlifted after Victorville Accident on Interstate 15 near Stoddard Wells Road
Victorville, California (January 10, 2022) – Two people were flown to a hospital after a crash involving a big rig on Interstate 15 in Victorville Monday afternoon, the authorities said.
Just before 2:11 p.m., a red sedan reportedly slammed into the back of a semi-truck on the southbound side of the interstate near the Stoddard Wells Road off-ramp.
The truck was parked on the side of the road and the driver was trying to change a tire.
Two helicopters were requested to transport a woman and a baby who were riding in the sedan.

The two patients were transported with unspecified injuries.
Authorities reportedly detained a woman at the location of the crash for unknown reasons.
All southbound lanes of I-15 were closed shortly as crews worked at the scene.
The incident is under investigation.
