1 Airlifted after Victorville Crash on D Street near I -15 Freeway
Victorville, California (February 1, 2022) – One person was airlifted to a hospital after colliding with a big rig in Victorville on Tueasday afternoon, according to the authorities.
The collision occurred at around 12:45 p.m. in the 16300 block of D Street near I -15 Freeway.
A light blue Dodge reportedly slammed into the rear of a semi for unknown reasons.
Driver Airlifted after Fiery Victorville Crash
The 68-year-old man driving the Dodge was extricated from the vehicle and flown to Loma Linda University Medical Center.
There was no update on the condition of the driver.
The westbound lanes of D Street were closed for nearly one hour for the investigation.
The Victorville Police Department is investigating the incident.
