Rider Hospitalized after Victorville Motorcycle Crash on La Mesa Road near Mesa Linda Avenue
Victorville, California (April 5, 2022) – A motorcyclist was airlifted to the hospital after colliding with an SUV Tuesday afternoon in Victorville, as per a local news source.
The accident happened at about 2:35 p.m. on La Mesa Road, near Mesa Linda Avenue.
Investigators said the motorcyclist crashed into the rear of the driver side portion of a black Acura SUV under unclear circumstances.
Victorville City firefighters responded and requested an air ambulance to airlift the rider. A ground ambulance was used to take the patient to Liberty Park, from where Mercy Air airlifted the victim to a trauma center in an unknown condition.
Victorville City Public Works employees also responded to the scene and helped set up a hard road closure near the scene.
Authorities are investigating the crash.
