At Least 1 Injured in Walnut Creek Collision on Interstate 680 near S Main Street Off-Ramp
Walnut Creek, California (October 16, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a two-vehicle collision that happened Saturday morning in Walnut Creek, resulting in major injuries.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray Subaru Forester and a white sedan collided at about 5:28 a.m. on southbound Interstate 680, just north of S Main Street off-ramp.
Firefighters responded to the scene of the major injury collision shortly after receiving reports about the incident to find at least one person injured. No information was given about where the patient was taken for treatment.
Both vehicles were towed away with crash damage.
The cause of the crash will be established when the investigation is concluded.
