2 Injured, 1 Seriously in Watsonville Crash on Elkhorn Road near Werner Road
Watsonville, California (November 17, 2021) – Two people were injured, one seriously, in a Tuesday morning traffic accident in Watsonville, authorities said.
The major injury accident occurred at about 7:02 a.m. on Elkhorn Road, just north of Werner Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a silver Ford truck collided with a green pickup truck on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
As a result of the crash impact, the two vehicles reportedly sustained significant front-end damage. One person was trapped in the wreckage and was extricated by the first responders.

The extricated party sustained major injuries, including broken bones.
One other person suffered minor injuries and complaints of pain.
Tow trucks were called to the scene to remove the damaged vehicles.
