Motorcyclist Killed, 2 Injured in West Hills Crash Thursday afternoon at Roscoe Boulevard and Fallbrook Avenue
West Hills, California (January 20, 2022) – A motorcyclist was killed Thursday afternoon in a collision with a vehicle in the West Hills neighborhood in Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The deadly accident occurred at around 1:15 p.m. at the intersection of Roscoe Boulevard and Fallbrook Avenue.
Los Angeles police were following the motorcyclist who was reportedly wanted for theft. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers were tracking the motorcycle but were not chasing it.
The rider led police through Fallbrook Shopping Plaza, Chatsworth, and West Hills.
As the motorcyclist approached the intersection of Roscoe Boulevard and Fallbrook Avenue, the rider collided with another vehicle. The impact sent the motorcycle rider flying and landed approximately 100 feet down the street.
Deadly Motorcycle Collision in West Hills
Sadly, the motorcyclist died at the scene. The name of the victim has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
Two occupants of the car sustained minor injuries.
