Man Killed in Jurupa Valley Accident on Hall Avenue near El Rio Avenue
Jurupa Valley, California (September 6, 2022) – A man riding in a wheelchair was struck and killed by a vehicle early Monday morning in Jurupa Valley, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
The collision happened at around 3:15 a.m. on September 5, on Hall Avenue north of El Rio Avenue.
The man was traveling southbound on Hall Avenue when he was struck by a southbound vehicle.
Authorities said the man was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident.
The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene and reportedly cooperated with the investigators.
It's unclear whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the incident.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
