1 Suffers Major Injuries in Whittier Car Crash on Laurel Avenue and Mulberry Drive
Whittier, California (February 14, 2022) – One person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision that happened Sunday evening at an intersection in Whittier, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP said the accident occurred at around 7:11 p.m. on Laurel Avenue and Mulberry Drive.
Two vehicles collided for unknown reasons, one of them hitting an Edison wooden pole.
Whittier Police Department, firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene.
One person sustained a broken leg in the crash. The patient was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
