Willie Lewis Sr ID'd as Man Killed in Tracy Crash on Interstate 205 near Hansen Road Overpass
Tracy, California (February 10, 2022) – The man who was killed in a traffic collision in Tracy on Tuesday night has been identified as Willie Lewis Sr., 62, according to authorities.
The incident was reported at around 8:40 p.m. February 8, on Interstate 205 near the Hansen Road overpass.
Authorities said Lewis was driving a GMC SUV that was involved in a collision with a Saturn sedan.
When Lewis stepped out of his vehicle to speak with the occupants of the Saturn, he was hit by a white Audi.
Lewis was pronounced deceased at the site of the accident.
It's unclear whether other involved parties were injured.
An investigation into the deadly accident is ongoing.
