2 Injured in Willits Crash on Highway 101 near Black Bart Drive
Willits, California (February 16, 2022) – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision that took place on Highway 101 near Willits Wednesday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The vehicles collided on the southbound side at mile marker 41 near Black Bart Drive at around 6 p.m.
One of the vehicles reportedly burst into flames following the impact of the crash.
One person sustained major injuries while a second party was able to walk .
Authorities blocked the southbound lanes of Highway 101 as crews worked to clear the scene.
Authorities are conducting an investigation to determine what caused the collision.
