Woman Injured, Nathan Tuvalu Arrested after Millbrae Pedestrian Crash on Millbrae Ave and El Camino Real
Millbrae, CA – A woman was critically injured in a hit-and-run collision that led to the arrest of a hit-and-run driver in Millbrae early Sunday morning, according to the authorities.
The accident took place at about 5:40 a.m. on Millbrae Avenue and El Camino Real.
According to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office, a woman in her 40s was hit by a driver who fled the scene after the accident.
The victim received onscene treatment from the responding medics and was eventually transported to a hospital with critical injuries.
Authorities tracked down the suspect, later identified as Nathan Tuvalu.
Tuvalu was arrested at his home and was booked into jail for hit-and-run.
The incident remained uder investigation.
