Woman Killed in Cajon Pass Accident on Cajon Boulevard near Keenbrook Road

Cajon Pass, California (December 2, 2021) – A woman died after being involved in a traffic collision in Cajon Pass on Monday afternoon, according to California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at around 2:50 p.m. November 29, on Cajon Boulevard near Keenbrook Road.
CHP said a blue Chrysler 200 was traveling northbound on Cajon Boulevard when it swerved across the double yellow lines to overtake vehicles ahead.

The Chrysler collided head-on with an oncoming Ford Escape driven by a female driver. The impact pushed the Ford off the side of the roadway and into a ditch.
After the initial collision, the Chrysler swerved and crashed into a vehicle that had stopped for traffic on northbound Cajon Boulevard.
The driver of the Ford was extricated by firefighters and rushed to a hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
CHP said impairment was not suspected to be a factor in the collision.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
