Portland, Ore. – A woman was killed in a crash on Northeast Marine Drive in Northeast Portland Friday night.
The police said the traffic collision was reported at around 11:25 p.m. on Northeast Marine Drive near Portland International Airport.
Maria I. Moncada, 22, of Gresham, was driving a 2013 BMW 3-series at a high rate of speed when she left the travel lane and crashed into a 2015 Honda Fit parked on the shoulder of the road.
A woman in the Fit was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name was not immediately disclosed.
Moncada was arrested on allegations of first-degree manslaughter, driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving.
The street was blocked for several hours as officers investigated the mishap.
