Woman Killed in San Jose Accident on Alum Rock Avenue and Interstate 680
San Jose, California (March 19, 2022) – A woman who was involved in a collision earlier this month in San Jose has succumbed to her injuries, according to a report by the San Jose Police Department.
The woman was struck by a vehicle at around 5:30 a.m. March 2, on Alum Rock Avenue and Interstate 680.
Police said the woman was in the crosswalk when she was struck by a Chevrolet HHR that was trying to enter the freeway .

The victim was taken to a hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries on Thursday, March 17.
The driver of the Chevrolet remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The identities of the pedestrian and the driver were not immediately released.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
