Hacienda Heights, Calif. – A woman was hospitalized after her car was crushed under a semi on Highway 60 in Hacienda Heights early Monday morning, according to a police report.
The crash happened at about 1:49 a.m. on eastbound Highway 60 at 7th Avenue.
According to the CHP, officers responded to the scene and located a sedan that crashed into the semi with the front end crushed under the trailer.
CHP officials say Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics transported the female driver to an area hospital in unknown condition.
Two slow lanes of the highway were shut down as arrived worked to clear the roadway.
The incident remains under investigation.
