Woman Hospitalized after Anderson Crash at South Street and Highway 273

Anderson, California (November 10, 2021) – A woman was injured when a car slammed into a utility truck Wednesday evening in Anderson, according to the Anderson Police Department.
A little before 7:00 p.m., the authorities received a report about the accident in the area of South Street and Highway 273.
Anderson police said the car crashed into the trailer being towed by the utility truck.
Woman Injured in Collision in Anderson
Emergency crews responded to the scene and found the woman unresponsive in the car. They administered life-saving measures on the woman before transporting her to Mercy Medical Center in Redding in unknown condition.
Two passengers of the utility truck were not injured.
Police shut down South Street while they investigated the accident.
