Woman Injured in San Diego Accident on Hollister Street and Coronado Avenue
San Diego, California (August 11, 2022) – A woman was injured in a crash with a San Diego County Sheriff's deputy on Wednesday evening in the Nestor neighborhood, according to the authorities.
The crash on Hollister Street and Coronado Avenue happened at about 5:15 p.m. on August 10.
Authorities said the deputy had his lights and sirens on while responding to a call when his SUV collided with a Ford Mustang at the intersection.
The 34-year-old woman driving the Mustang was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
The deputy was not injured in the accident.
Both vehicles were towed from the site of the collision.
The San Diego Police Department is investigating the crash.
