Oakland, OR. – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a car accident on Monday afternoon in Oakland
According to Oregon State Police, the accident happened around 1 p.m. on Interstate 5 near Rice Valley Road.
A Winston man was driving a pickup truck on the freeway when he crashed into a subcompact sedan that had slowed down for traffic.
The female driver of the sedan was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center with minor injuries.
The driver of the pickup truck was unhurt.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
