Woman Dies, Men Hurt in Car Accident on Fair Oaks Boulevard in Sacramento
Sacramento, California (September 27, 2021) – A 21-year-old woman from Fair Oaks is dead following a three-vehicle collision that occurred in Carmichael on Monday evening.
The deadly collision happened on Fair Oaks Boulevard around 4:35 p.m., according to the North Sacramento area California Highway Patrol.
A GMC Denali was eastbound on Fair Oaks Blvd when it was rear-ended by a silver sedan.
The impact of the collision caused the sedan to flip into oncoming traffic and was struck by a westbound Chevy pickup truck.
The 21-year-old Fair Oaks woman driving the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Three-Vehicle Collision in Carmichael Leaves Woman Dead
The 62-year-old man from Fair Oaks who was driving the GMC and the 56-year-old man from Carmichael who was driving the Chevy were hospitalized with minor injuries.
The police said drugs and alcohol don't appear to be factors in the crash.
More details about the crash were not available.
A CHP investigation into the accident is ongoing.
