Woman Dies after Fresno County Accident on Marks Avenue and Jensen Avenue
Fresno County, California (March 19, 2022) – A woman was killed in a Friday night suspected DUI accident in Fresno County, authorities said.
The deadly accident occurred at about 8:40 p.m., on March 18, on Marks Avenue and Jensen Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by a man who appeared to be under the influence, went through a stop sign and crashed into the driver's side of a second SUV operated by the woman.

The woman sustained major injuries in the accident and was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries.
TheTahoe's driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected into a field at the intersection's northwest corner. He was also hospitalized but was arrested for felony DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter. He will be booked into Fresno county jail once he's recovered.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
