Surprise, AZ. – A bicyclist was hit and killed by a vehicle late Wednesday night in Surprise, according to the authorities.
The wreck took place in the area of Waddell Road near State Route 303 at about 11 p.m. July 8.
A woman was riding a bicycle in the area when a vehicle struck her.
The woman was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
The involved driver stayed at the scene and was not suspected of DUI.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
