A 32-year-old female passenger of the Camry was killed in the accident

San Diego, CA. – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision involving suspected drunk drivers on Wednesday night in Bonsall.
The California Highway Patrol says the accident happened on the southbound 15 Freeway, south of Old Highway 395, at around 11:40 p.m.
26-year-old Mark Anthony Bengal, of Chula Vista, was driving a Chevrolet Colorado pickup on the freeway when he rear-ended a Nissan Titan.
The Chevrolet became disabled and was struck by a Volkswagen Tiguan driven by Phillip Mattson, 80, of Encinitas.
A Toyota Camry then rear-ended the Volkswagen and the Chevrolet was sideswiped by a Kia Soul.
A 32-year-old female passenger of the Camry was killed in the accident.
The 32-year-old woman driving the Camry was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
Authorities say all others involved suffered injuries not considered life-threatening.
Mark and Phillip were subsequently arrested on suspicion of DUI.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
