Balboa Park, Calif. – A woman was killed in a collision between two vehicles near Balboa Park on Wednesday afternoon, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The incident took place in the 3000 block of Florida Drive at about 2:28 p.m. March 13.
Police said a 32-year-old man was driving a 2014 Toyota Sienna van north on Florida Drive when he drifted across the center line and collided with a southbound 2009 Subaru Forester.
The driver of the Subaru, a 67-year-old woman, was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
Police said DUI was not suspected in the accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
