CHP said a woman driving a Mini Cooper on the eastbound 94 onramp to CA-15 crashed on the bridge and the vehicle fell off the bridge

San Diego, Calif. – A woman was killed in a crash in San Diego on Saturday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened on State Route 94 West near the CA-15 onramp.
CHP said a woman driving a Mini Cooper on the eastbound 94 onramp to CA-15 crashed on the bridge and the vehicle fell off the bridge.
The Mini Cooper landed on another vehicle on SR 94.
Both vehicles burst into flames following the crash.
Debris from the collision struck a third vehicle.
The driver of the Mini Cooper died at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the second vehicle were extricated by firefighters.
The driver was hospitalized with critical injuries.
All westbound lanes of SR 94 were shut down as authorities investigated the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
