Reports indicated that the woman was walking on the sidewalk, when for unknown reasons she walked on the streets and was hit by a vehicle.
Scottsdale, AZ. – A female pedestrian was fatally injured in a traffic collision near an intersection in Scottsdale on Saturday night.
According to the Scottsdale Police, the wreck was reported on July 13 near Scottsdale and Thunderbird Roads.
Reports indicated that the woman was walking on the sidewalk, when for unknown reasons, she walked on the streets and was hit by a vehicle.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity was not immediately disclosed.
The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the officers.
Impairment was not believed to have played a role in the mishap.
