The unidentified woman succumbed to her injuries while being transported to the hospital
Santa Rosa, CA. – A woman was killed in a head-on collision that left her passenger injured near Guerneville in Santa Rosa on Tuesday night.
At around 10 p.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a car accident on Old River Road near Martinelli Road.
The woman was driving a Toyota Sienna east on the roadway when she shifted into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a Chevrolet Sonic.
The unidentified woman succumbed to her injuries while being transported to the hospital.
A passenger in the Toyota was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
The driver of the Chevrolet suffered serious injuries in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
The collision remains under investigation.
