Woman Killed in Collision Involving Stolen Vehicle at Nordhoff and Hayvenhurst in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, California (October 5, 2021) – A driver was killed in a multi-vehicle collision involving a suspected stolen vehicle in North Hills, Los Angeles, on Tuesday morning.
The deadly collision happened near the intersection of Nordhoff Street and Hayvenhurst Avenue at about 5:30 a.m.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the driver of a Range Rover which had been reported missing two days ago ran a red light at the intersection and collided with three vehicles.
Suspects in Stolen Vehicle Cause Multi-Car Crash in North Hills, Woman Killed
An adult female driver of one of the cars was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
Two suspects in the stolen vehicle fled the scene on foot and were yet to be located, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
