Woman Dies after Santa Maria Crash near Beth Court and Alvin Avenue
Santa Maria, California (February 3, 2022) – A woman died after a collision that occurred near a Santa Maria intersection on Tuesday evening, according to the Santa Maria Police Department.
The fatal crash occurred near Beth Court and Alvin Avenue at around 7 p.m. February 1.
Police said a Santa Maria woman made an unsafe turning movement and traveled the wrong way, colliding head-on with a truck.

The woman was rushed to a local hospital, after which she was flown to Santa Barbara hospital, where she later died of her injuries.
The second motorist was unhurt in the collision.
The Santa Maria Police Department is investigating the wreck.
