Indio, California (October 19, 2021) – A woman in a motorized wheelchair was struck and killed by a vehicle in Indio on Sunday afternoon, according to the Indio police.
The accident took place in the area near Avenue 51 and Monroe Street at around 2:09 p.m. October 17.
According to police, the woman was found sitting on the dirt shoulder after the crash.
